After a rather snowy and unscheduled break last week, World book Day had to be postponed to Thursday 8th March. Once again Davinci students and staff did the school proud as they dressed in a plethora of capes, wands, bows and arrows to celebrate the literary world of books.

Cruella De Vil kept the library in check which the 'Pirates of  Pastoral'  watched over break time duty.

Although great fun, the message of reading was promoted throughout the day with DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) opportunities and short stories, myths and legends shared with pupils.

The day ended with literary and chocolate prizes for best costume

Alisha Clifton -Y7
